Labor Day Weekend 2014

Labor Day in Historic triangle starts a season of fun activities that include art shows, concerts, foodie experiences and great weather!

On August 25th pack a picnic dinner and stroll on down to Grace Episcopal Church for and evening of music by Poisoned Dwarf, Celtic style music. Its a free event and starts at 5. Don’t forget a blanket or lawn chair.

dixe afEnjoy a Dixie Band concert courtesy of the Ft. Eustis & Langley Air force Base Soldiers and Airman. Bring blankets or better yet lawn chairs for seating. Yorktowns Riverwalk Landing. August 27. 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Merchant Square Concert on August 28th will bring on the  USAF Blue Aces Ensemble, There will be a wide variety of musical styles. don’t forget your lawn chair for this one! Starts at 7pm and is free.

Come and witness a spectacular  Virginia Symphony Concert starting with a per-concert performance with the Yorktown Fife and Drum core. Pack a picnic supper, bring a lawn chair, and sit under the stars at the Riverwalk Landing. August 31. Picnic judging 6 p.m. Concert at 7:30 p. m. Free. (757) 890-4490.
