If music is what you are in the mood for then look no farther. “The Burg” has some something for everyone. You can find jazz and blues, choral or gospel just about every weekend.

  • Runaway String Band at the Williamsburg Library Theater

  • Williamsburg Women’s Chorus 50th Anniversary Concert
    Walnut Hills Baptist Church on May 15, 7:30 pm
  • Regional Musical Traditions
    May 14, 5:30 – 6:30 pm
    Nikos Pappas, a visiting scholar and fiddler, will allow you to sample many different types of music that evolved from various regions of Virginia.
  • Smith and Wade
    May 16, 7 pm
    Dick Smith and Cabot Wade are united as the SMITH-WADE Band. Come enjoy a night of live music at the Williamsburg Lodge as they perform covers of your favorite hits.
  • Historic Organ Recital
    May 16, 10 – 10:30 am
    The Wren Chapel has inside an 18th-century English chamber organ. This instrument is one of the prized possessions of Williamsburg, with a quality of a time long past. Come listen and learn as Sarah Bland gives her recital on this magnificent instrument.
  • Choral Evensong
    May 17, 5:30 – 6:30 pm
    The Bruton Parish Church is coming up on its 300th anniversary, and putting on quite a few events in celebration. This special Choral Evensong will feature Five Mystical Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams, sung by the Bruton chorus. If you’re looking for an evening of beautiful music in a breath-taking environment, this is the event for you.
