Q: Will we have our own bathroom?
A: Yes, all of our rooms and suites have private baths.
Q: Will there be a telephone in our room?
A: No, we have taken out the phones as most guests have cell phones today.
Q: Can we connect to the Internet at your B&B?
A: Yes, we have whole house Wi-Fi.
A: Yes, each room will be quite comfortable in summer and winter.
A: Typically at 8:30am Some holidays may be later.
A: We can typically accommodate you earlier with a full breakfast or a take along if you like.
A: Yes, our special delivery breakfast service is a truly romantic and decadent treat. There is a fee for this service.

A: Yes, we have a 2 night minimum on weekends and 3 to 4 nights on holidays.
A: We offer well rounded and thought out gourmet breakfasts in Williamsburg, using seasonal fruits and will include an egg, meat and bread.
A: Check-in time is between 4:00 – 6:00 pm. (Please call a day ahead to make arrangements for early or late arrivals.) Check-out time is 11:00 am.
A: Our private off-street parking lot is located in the front of the Inn. There is one spot per room. If you require more then one spot per room please contact innkeeper prior to arrival.
A: Sorry – we cannot accommodate pets of any kind
A: Colonial Gardens Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking Williamsburg lodging
facility. Smoking is acceptable on the porch only.
A: Minimum age 12 after a discussion with the Innkeeper.
A: Yes – Colonial Gardens Bed & Breakfast Packages are listed on our packages page and change frequently…be sure to check back often for updated news and packages. Gift certificates to our Williamsburg inn are available as well.
A: Yes, if you do it in time. There is a cancellation policy for each our rooms and our weddings. 14 – 30 days for rooms depending on dates and 180 days for weddings.
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: Once you have secured your reservation with a deposit, you are fully obligated for your entire stay. If you need to for whatever reason, cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit with at least 30 days notice April – December & Holidays and 14 Days notice January & February with the exception of holidays, less a $25 administration fee or 5% of deposited amount, which ever is greater. If you must make a last-minute cancellation, we will return your deposit, as long as we are able to rent the room to another guest over the entire reserved period. Naturally, we will make every effort to re-rent the room so that we may return the appropriate amount of your deposit. Weddings will be refunded less 10% of the total package price if canceled more then 180 days in advance of date. Within 180 days there will be no refund.
If you have secured your reservation with a gift certificate or card, that will be used to collect payment for a no-show or cancellation inside the allotted time frame. This may leave your certificate or card void of any value.
Please note: There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, whether it be for reasons of sickness, family emergency or weather and as such we recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
We understand your concerns about a possible hurricane. We always suggest protection with travel insurance.
Policy if the weather service in fact issues a hurricane warning in our area:
For guests due to arrive at the Bed and Breakfast: a credit with be issued for a future stay.
Policy if there is no official hurricane warning in our area:
Cancelling a stay based upon a hurricane approaching the general area or once a hurricane has gone through, please refer to our normal cancellation policy
If a hurricane has gone through and the bed and Breakfast is not suitable for hosting guests, upcoming reservations will receive a credit toward a future stay or a refund.
