Whats not to love about a weekend?

Its going to be a great weekend to get out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine here in Williamsburg Virginia. It looks like this will be summers last big show with temps in the low 90″s for the high both Friday and Saturday, so lets get to it and do some fun outdoor stuff!

Start out Friday evening with Chef David Everetts 4th Annual Farm to Table Dinner. Dinner will be served alfresco out under the stars on DOG Street known as one of the most beautiful streets in Williamsburg. You will enjoy abundant platters of perfectly prepared locally sourced meat and vegetables and great company. Call Dog street pub for ticketsfarm-to-table-setup

Saturday morning of course is the best time to hit the farmers market on Merchant Square with this week most likely going to bring a bountiful fare to choose from. The market is open from 8 to 12

If you get finished before 10 am at the market, then run over tomarket the Williamsburg Lodge and take part in the “Chef’s Garden Tour and Tasting” where you will learn how to bring herbs into the kitchen and into your home cooked dishes for fun and flavor with Sous Chef Ken Clasen.

Now I think it may be time to head over to the Williamsburg Winery for a tour and tasting and some lunch if your still hungry and then back to the Bed and Breakfast for a well deserved nap! I think we can safely say Sunday is for recuperating!
