Upcoming Festivals in Williamsburg & Surrounding Areas

If you are in the Williamsburg, Virginia area for these upcoming weekend festivals, be sure to stop in and enjoy craft beer, local wine, and fine art in the wonderful weather we have been having lately.

Virginia Beach will hold their inaugural Neptune’s Coastal Craft Beer Festival on August 29th from 1-6 pm at the 31st Street Park.  Many breweries will be represented from Virginia, Maryland, and all over the country such as; Alewerks Brewing Company (from Williamsburg, Virginia), Back Bay Brewing (Virginia Beach, Virginia), Devils Backbone Brewing Company (Lexington, Virginia), Heavy Seas Beer (Baltimore, Maryland), Kona Brewing Company (Kailua-Kona, Hawaii), O’Connor Brewing Co. (Norfolk, Virginia), and StGeorge BrewingCo (Hampton, Virginia) just to name a few!

Second Sunday Festival in Williamsburg, Virginia takes place on the second Sunday of every month. The next one will be held on September 12th at 433 Prince George Street. Here you will find local arts & crafts vendors, authors with family friendly books, face painting, and even live music! Stroll and enjoy because there is no way you could leave without finding something that belongs in your home!

The Yorktown Wine Festival will be held on October 3rd from 12 pm to 6 pm at 331 Water Street in Yorktown, Virginia.  There will be live music, local food and art vendors and lots of lawn chairs with coolers with cheese! Come enjoy the waterfront view while sipping on a host of Virginia wines. After the festival is over, feel free to enjoy the local scenery at the Water Street Grille or take a stroll down the historic streets of Yorktown.
