Yorktown Wine Festival Returns to Riverwalk Landing for 2019

Did you know that Yorktown has not one, but two sister cities? That’s right, Zweibrücken (Germany) and Port-Vendres (France) are both acknowledged as Yorktown’s “twin towns” and serve as a connection for cultural and social engagement. And at this year’s Yorktown Wine Festival, you will have the opportunity to partake not only in Virginia’s best wines, but also in Yorktown’s sister cities’ famed libations.

A glass of wine sits on a tree stump in an open field with green grass and trees.

In honor of Zweibrücken, there will be Rieslings and Gewürztraminers to sample. And of course, champagne from the only place it can truly come from: France! Make your way to Riverwalk Landing on October 5, 2019 for a tasting trip across the globe. Don’t worry if not everyone in your party is a wine enthusiast. The event will also feature a craft beer garden, live music, food from local restaurants, and artists selling their work. It’s sure to be an enjoyable afternoon and evening.

Tickets are on sale now and are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. If you have time before or after the event, there is plenty to do in the Riverwalk Landing area as well.

Don’t miss your chance to practice and expand your wine-tasting skills! And when you’re ready to settle in for the night, we’d be happy to serve you a glass of our favorite Williamsburg Winery wines. Book today–your taste buds won’t regret it!
