May Happenings

Spring is in full bloom and the month of May is packed with fun events around the Williamsburg area. The historic Colonial Williamsburg features beautiful gardens at their prime. We suggest grabbing a cup of tea from the Spice and Tea exchange and your favorite book to settle in on the historic Duke of Gloucester Street (or as we locals affectionately call it: “DoG Street”).

You can enjoy some lavender ice cream at the Sweet Haven Lavender Farm with its season opening on May 14th. During their Twilight Nights, cut some lavender bouquets in the soft evening breeze and stroll over to the barn for live music from local musicians.

Cool down with a splash at Water Country USA which opens May 11th. The weather is beautiful but can have some warm moments! If you’re hungry, hop on over to the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival.

Grab a towel, dry off, and get your groove on at one of the Merchant Square Concert series on the first Friday of the month.

Though there’s never rest for the weary traveler, our luxury accommodations are perfect for rest and good company with our innkeeper, Angela. Act quickly! Reserve your stay today.

Here is a snapshot of some of the upcoming events:
